A Washington Native with years behind the lens!

I’ve been working behind the lens in video and photography for 18+ years! From Yakima, WA and now establishing roots with my family in Spokane, WA, I love telling stories and meeting the people behind them! With a daughter of my own, I love making teens laugh and smile! Encouraging teens to feel proud of who they are and their unique gifts is just one of the many reasons I was drawn to the storytelling of Senior Photography!

As our children grow older, it seems there’s less emphasis put on grabbing those family portraits, but taking the effort to celebrate the family around your senior is never time wasted. Choose to add a quick session to your Senior shoot, or schedule for another time.

FAQs

What’s included in my session fee?

I want to keep it simple, so your session fee is a one and done payment submitted before the photo shoot and it includes all the digital files from the shoot! There are no images locked behind paywalls, or hidden fees! You’ll also receive a print release form so you’ll be able to print your images so you can send them to your family members.

Do I have to go through all the images and only pick the ones we want?

I want to save you time! My all-inclusive approach means there will be no wading through hundreds of images to find your 15! That’s right… with my 15+ years of photography experience, I’ll pick the winners, edit them up and provide you with an online gallery where you can share and download them!

What kind of editing do you do on the images?

My goal is to represent the very best you! That means enhancing what’s already there, and not adding or taking anything away that isn’t! I’ll take care of blemishes, acne, and stray hairs but I’m not going to change who you are. I’m not going to edit your image to change your shape, change your hair color, or make your skin look like a doll! That’s not my style, and I want you to be proud of who you are… that’s the way it should be!

What happens if it rains during my shoot?

If the weather just isn’t cooperating (rain, wind, wildfire smoke, etc) we’ll work with you to find a time to reschedule… no problem!

What if my family wants to get a few photos with me?

Absolutely! This is an important time, so if your family is along I’m more than happy to include them. You can add on a quick family session to your package when you fill out your questionnaire.

How many outfits can I wear?

As many as you’d like! I don’t have a hard cap on outfit changes, nor do I charge an “outfit fee”. I’ll give a recommendation to the number of outfits appropriate for your session, but always remember that the more time you’re changing, that’s less time that I’m taking pictures!

What about a cap & gown follow up?

My Platinum and ShadowFire Sessions include a Cap & Gown follow up shoot right before your graduation! Teens grow up fast, and often do change a lot during their Senior year… so I like to follow up with a quick 25-min Cap & Gown Session to add just a few more images to the overall experience!

How long will I have to wait to see my finished images?

ShadowFire Seniors guarantees you will have your online gallery ready to view and download within two weeks after your session date. It’s that simple!

Can I bring my pet for some photos?

As a dog owner myself I understand how pets are essentially another family member, so by all means we can get a few shots with your loved one. Usually we only take a few shots and someone will need to be there to be responsible for your pet at all times.
