From incredible photoshoots throughout your junior and senior year, to meeting new friends, and supporting community events, the ShadowFire Senior Squad is about making these last couple years of high school even better than you could have imagined!

It’s about more than just getting your picture taken. It’s about creating an unforgettable experience and capturing that precious time leading up to graduation all while building your confidence.

You’ll have access to a minimum of four exclusive themed shoots throughout the year with the rest of the squad, and receive complimentary digital images from each event!

The Squad is all about forming friendships with others, being a part of a community that’s larger than you, and creating a group that supports and encourages one another!

There’s no requirements of any kind, but the squad will have opportunities to earn credits within the ShadowFire Seniors Print Marketplace, and in some cases cold, hard cash!! 

❋ No additional costs or fees!

Yes, you read that correctly… there are NO additional costs or fees beyond the cost of our senior sessions! Booking a session with ShadowFire Seniors is the key to unlocking this incredible opportunity!

Why have a Senior Squad?

There are many photographers out there, and while taking pictures has become something that “everyone” can do, we take pride in knowing that our 16+ years behind the camera can provide exceptional senior portraits that you and your family will treasure for a lifetime!

BUT… it can be so much more than just photos! It’s all about making the most of your Senior year with once in a lifetime experiences, a group that supports, encourages and motivates one another, and most importantly, gives you the confidence to be who you truly are. This time in your life can be a challenge, but we wanted to offer a way to tackle that challenge head on in a creative and collaborative way with friends and adults that will support you!

If you’re intrigued but still have some questions, that aren’t covered here? Don’t sweat it, after you apply you’ll be receiving A LOT more information!

So if you’re interested and this sounds like an experience you’d like to be a part of, simply apply! Nothing is final from applying and what we recommend is putting your best foot forward in your application, getting the remainder of the info and then figuring if if the Senior Squad is a good fit for you. Applying doesn’t lock you in to anything!

  • On average, the shoots, team events, and other Senior Squad things will take up about 2 hours per quarter (every 3 months). We know you’re busy and the LAST thing the Senior Squad is meant to do is overwhelm you! It’s all about fun!

  • No worries at all! The Senior Squad is as much or as little as you make it. There’s no requirement to make every shoot. If you can, fantastic, but if for some reason you can’t, that’s ok too!

  • NOPE! Being a part of the Senior Squad means that you use us for your senior photos! Basically, you get all of the perks of the Senior Squad like the shoots, team events and more AND you get a guaranteed spot on our calendar for no additional cost above the cost of one of our senior sessions! You’re still getting access to a variety of print products and the digital files! We do offer payment plans as well! (See below)

    In short, if you book us for a senior session and you’re not on the squad, the cost is exactly the same!

  • Most shoots are planned at least one month in advance. The only exception to that are any bonus or impromptu shoots where we have some extra time or a sudden spark to do a creative shoot. For those, anyone who can make it are welcome!

  • Whether you’re on the Senior Squad or a regular client, I never want financial reasons to be why you can’t be a part of the ShadowFire Senior experience. I do offer payment plans for all my clients and if you ever have questions, all you have to do is reach out!

  • Not at all! The special shoots are all included as part of the Senior Squad. The only time there may be an additional cost is if there is a ticket involved (i.e. County Fair, Pumpkin Patch, etc) but these are very minimal. If you ever need any help with covering this, just let us know!

  • Rolling applications are open until March 25th or until all spots on the Squad are filled. Because we only work with a select group on the Senior Squad, we do cap the number of people that are on it every year. If you want to be on it, apply now! The sooner you apply, the more shoots you’ll get to be a part of!

  • In a typical year, we’re hoping for our Senior Squad to be around 10 people. This way it’s not too small that you already know everyone, but not so big that you also don’t get to know everyone. If you have a friend you want to apply with, put that down on your application and chances are we can find room for the both of you even if we’re close to filling the team!

  • Absolutely! Just make sure to apply at the same time and put each other’s name down. As long as you fill out a complete, thoughtful application and you are a good fit for the Senior Squad, you’ll both be good to go!
